Each year, Amazon John Easterling takes a group of Associates on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. He packs a three-week trip into a one-week kaleidoscope of adventure, excitement and wonder. After meeting up in Peru’s sprawling capitol of Lima, situated on the Pacific Ocean, the group wings its way to the Amazon Rainforest, an hour’s flight and a world apart where the local Amazon Herb staff greets us.
The jungle adventure is action packed with visits to the local river tribes who harvest and produce the herbs you use and sell. It’s a wondrous journey through the narrow and wide expanses of the Ucayali, one of the major rivers at the headwaters of the Amazon. Exotic birds, jumping dolphins, dug out canoes---amazing vistas of river life pass by.
Our Rainforest Partners eagerly await and a huge celebration ensues with dancing, feasting, gift exchange and craft buying. There is an immediate heart connection with our local Amazon Family--a treasured experience for all.

The group visits the Amazon Herb Co. Reserve and treks into the jungle to learn about the herbs in their natural habitat. They breath in, taste, see and feel the vibrant life of the Rainforest.
Then off to the ancient city of Cusco nestled high in the Andes for a totally different adventure in the Highlands. A day is spent in the lush Urumbamba Valley with bargaining at the huge Indian Market and enjoying luscious local cuisine, while marveling at the ingenuity and stamina of the early civilizations.
The grand finale is a visit to Machu Picchu, the famous Lost City of the Incas. With Amazon John and your Amazon friends, this is truly the adventure of a lifetime!
